reading #2

Questions Do you agree or disagree with what the article defined as authentic/authenticity? Why or why not? What do you think the author means by " The authenticity of a thing is the essence of all that is transmissable from its beginning ranging from its substantive duration to its testimony to the history which it has experience. Do you agree/disagree with this and why? Do you agree with the authors view of reproduction detaching the reproduced object from the domain of tradition? How are film reproductions/remakes different from his definition of replications?

video

I wanted only a few of my layers to move. This is why I chose the cockroach on Miley Cyrus's body. I wanted to have movement without making everyones eyes cross at the amount of moving going on. Overall it was fun. I was able to use puppet warp in an easier way on after effects and I hope to use it again in future projects. I wanted to retain the vintage look of my tryptic without making it look too futuristic, which really served to keep the whole steam punk time travel theme.

2.)Does O'reilly's interpretation of what "style" is differ from your own interpretation of what you consider to be style? Do you agree with what he considers to be style and what he considers to be "surface style"?
